Calling for help

I decided to play around with the formatting today and was trying to learn a trick or two, unsuccessfully. So, I am going to just ask . . . . Can anyone tell me how to insert a link but rename the link so the "http://" stuff doesn't appear?? I am sure it is easy, but I am tired of trying to figure it out. Thanks in advance!!
